I went to the Heathman on Thanksgiving 2007. It was the antithesis of your experience for lunch. Although we had reservations weeks in advance, we were seated between the piano and door to something. Cramped in there with barely enough room to take off my jacket, I was at least expecting a great meal.
My friend LOVED the wine list (he's from New York) and also his dinner. I wanted a somewhat traditional turkey kind of thing. The waiter was rude and curt - and too busy to check to see if I really did want that second drink I ordered. It was an embarrassing and horrific experience for me. I'm glad my friend had a great wine and good dinner as mine was ruined. Ruined. I would never go to the Heathman again.
